Kismet: Sher Mohamed Allah Baksh (1914–1996) - Life, Contributions & Sacrifices is a pictorial biography written by his son, Rafique Sher Mohamed. The book chronicles the life and illustrious career of Sher Mohamed Allah Baksh, a legendary Malaysian police officer who served in the Royal Malaysia Police from 1934 to 1969. Spanning key historical eras, including Pre-WWII Malaya, the Japanese Occupation, the Malayan Emergency, and early Post-Independence, the book details his decorated service as Perak CID Chief, Selangor CID "Crime Buster," and Deputy Chief Police Officer. Featuring historical news clippings, official citations, personal letters, and rare archival photographs, Kismet serves as both a deeply personal family tribute and a vital piece of Malaysian military and police history.
