Medical Officer (MO)

• Provide medical consultation, diagnosis and treatment to patients.
• Conduct general health examinations and basic medical procedures.
• Conduct antenatal scans with strong proficiency and accuracy, adhering to best practices and safety guidelines
• Possess a thorough understanding of primary care services, including antenatal, maternal and child health, vaccination, non-communicable diseases, family planning, and more.
• Prescribe medication and explain treatment plans clearly to patients.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records.
• Display familiarity with emergency cases and be prepared to provide immediate and effective medical assistance.
• Hands-on experience with paediatric cases, from newborn checks to common childhood illnesses.
• Certified to give vaccinations and manage immunisation schedules safely.
• Skilled at minor surgical procedures, delivering calm and precise care.
• Provide professional, friendly and compassionate patient care.
• Work closely with staff nurse, medical assistants, clinic assistants and the management team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Comply with clinic SOPs, ethical standards and Ministry of Health requirements.

Requirements:
• Graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) or an equivalent medical degree.
• Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
• Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• At least 5 years’ experience in medical field
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, responsible, caring and professional towards patients.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work on a shift basis.
• Familiar with paeds patients
• Candidates who can start immediately will be given priority.
