Mumm-Ra is the main villain from the 1980s animated series ThunderCats, a show hugely popular with kids of that era. He is an ancient, evil sorcerer who lives in the Black Pyramid and serves the "Ancient Spirits of Evil," drawing his power from them to transform from a decayed mummy into the towering, muscular "Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living." His character embodied the dark, mystical side of the show, often scheming against the ThunderCats with magic, deception, and monsters. For many children in the ’80s, Mumm-Ra was both frightening and fascinating, making him one of the most memorable cartoon villains of the decade.
