Synopsis:
Spider-Man, Nova, and Namorita investigate Target Technologies in New Jersey, where they are ambushed by the latest Dreadnaught robots, realizing the criminal science organization Advanced Idea Mechanics (AIM) is involved. The heroes are joined by Night Thrasher, Silhouette, and Firestar, who have tracked Speedball's energy signature to the facility following his kidnapping. Noticing Firestar's microwave powers disrupt the robots, Spider-Man infiltrates the ventilation system to destroy the control computers, causing the Dreadnaughts to run berserk and be easily defeated. The combined team then heads toward an administration building to continue their search, while a mysterious benefactor enlists Justin Hammer's operatives to defend their secret lab. Separately, in a secondary story, a determined Eddie Brock, following the mur-der of his neighbor, operates as Venom to pursue the killers after exhausting all official channels, which leads him to the Markham Machine Company.
