The 1992 recipe calendar issued by Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn. Bhd. is a promotional wall calendar produced to promote the use of Shell Gas for home cooking. Each month features a full-color photograph of a prepared dish along with a detailed recipe, ingredients list, and cooking instructions, such as the example shown for “Five Spiced Chicken with Mushroom.” The calendar also includes the monthly dates with selected national and state holidays in Malaysia, while the last page provides illustrated gas safety precautions for proper use and handling of LPG cylinders and regulators. Combining cooking inspiration with safety awareness, the calendar served as both a practical kitchen guide and a marketing tool for Shell’s household gas products in Malaysia during 1992.
