STYLE NO. 8884: CLASSIC WORK MOC-TOE
Modeled after Red Wing's original work boot style, the 8884 is a 6-Inch Moc Toe featuring Camouflage leather, white Traction Tred rubber outsole, All-round Goodyear Welt, triple stitched quality and taslan laces.
THE HISTORY BEHIND THE STYLE
Red Wing Shoe Co. is one of the few shoe makers in the world that has its own tannery, known as S.B. Foot Tannery . Among those leathers they create, there is a camouflage leather for hunting goods. Hunting is a popular sport in United State, especially in the Midwest where Red Wing Shoe Company is located. Camouflage pattern is commonly used to produce hunting wear and goods. Style 8884 Classic Moc Toe in Mossy Oak® Camouflage is a Classic Red Wing Shoes Mocassin style that is made in Red Wing, Minnesota. This leather has a pattern of autumn leaves that conjures the forests like the ones around in southern Minnesota. It perfectly blends into environment which is effective in hunting at grove.

S.B. Foot Tanning Co. is best known for oil-tanned leather which is used to build a variety of timeless Red Wing styles. This leather is water, stain and perspiration resistant, and has a more natural look and feel because less finishing materials have been applied, allowing its natural beauty to shine through. Oil-tanned leather is exceptionally durable and has been used to build countless work boots throughout Red Wing's 108+ year history.

1. CLEAN
Light Cleaning
Use warm water and a soft bristle brush to remove stuck-on dirt. Then use a clean, dry cloth to wipe away any remaining excess dirt.
Deep Cleaning
For heavily soiled areas, use a clean cloth or brush to apply Red Wing Shoes Leather Cleaner. Wipe the cleaner away with a damp cloth and allow the leather to dry.
2. CONDITION
Proper conditioning helps preserve the finish and life of your footwear. Use Red Wing's All Natural Boot Oil, Mink Oil or All Natural Leather Conditioner. You can apply these conditioners with your fingers, soft cloth or sponge. Below, you will find the recommended conditioner to use with each of our Red Wing leathers.
3. PROTECT
Add extra protection to preserve your footwear. Red Wing Leather Protector provides an invisible shield from water, dirt, oil and mud.
