Synopsis:
Marvel Comics’ Nick Fury vs. S.H.I.E.L.D. Vol. 3 follows Nick Fury after he survives an assassination attempt and begins building a new alliance to oppose a corrupted S.H.I.E.L.D. He recruits Alexander Pierce, a rogue agent, and secretly meets Tony Stark, despite a deep mistrust between them. As Fury investigates whether S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives are being replaced by Life Model Decoys (LMDs), a terrifying “Eric Koenig” burns to reveal he’s a robot. Meanwhile, CIA agent Al Mackenzie rescues John Adams “J.A.” Allen from a murd3r plot, only to see them both drawn into a far-reaching conspiracy. Fury then storms a hidden base, kidnaps the Koenig LMD for intelligence, and receives a cryptic directive to head to Hong Kong, uncovering even more dangerous truths.
