Child’s Play 2 (1990) continues the chilling story of young Andy Barclay, who is placed in foster care after the traumatic events of the first film in which his doll, Chucky, was possessed by the spirit of a serial killer. When the Good Guy doll line is reintroduced by the toy company in an attempt to repair its reputation, Chucky is resurrected once again and resumes his hunt for Andy, determined to transfer his soul into the boy’s body to regain human form. As strange accidents and deaths occur around Andy’s new home, he struggles to convince those around him that the doll is alive. The film builds to a suspenseful and violent climax in the toy factory, where Andy and his foster sister Kyle must face Chucky in a desperate fight for survival.
