Rewinding Machine Operator (Urgent Hiring)

We are looking to hire a full time Rewinding Machine Operator to be based at our Head Office warehouse in Bandar Sunway, Selangor.

Job Description:
• Operate jumbo paper roll rewinding and slitting machines efficiently and safely.
• Load and unload jumbo paper rolls using hoists, forklifts, or lifting equipment.
• Set machine parameters such as tension, speed, width, and roll diameter according to job specifications.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure smooth rewinding, slitting, and cutting processes.
• Inspect finished rolls for quality issues including wrinkles, uneven winding, tears, or incorrect dimensions.
• Prepare the rewinding report and immediately submit to the Warehouse Manager after the job is completed.
• Maintain accurate production records, machine logs, and quality reports.
• Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Identify and troubleshoot minor machine faults or operational issues.
• Follow workplace safety procedures, GMP, and company operating standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance technicians, and quality control teams to minimize downtime.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished products.
• To assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company from time to time.

Job Requirements:
• Minimum SPM or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience operating rewinding, slitting, or paper converting machinery is an advantage.
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read production specifications and measurement tools accurately.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and machine operating procedures.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials when required.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends as required.
• Positive working attitude with a high level of initiative.
