Barrier Gate, CCTV, Door Access System Technician

We are expanding our team! We are looking for a skilled Electrical and Wiring Technician who specializes in security systems. If you have a strong hands-on background in low-voltage wiring and security hardware installation, we want you.

Key Responsibilities / Job Scope:
System Installation:
Run cables, conduit, and trunking to install CCTV cameras, door access control, smart alarms, and barriers gate.

Hardware Setup:
Mount, wire, and physically install electronic door locks, attendance readers, turnstiles, and barrier gate loops.

Configuration & Testing:
Terminate cables, power up systems, and configure hardware settings for optimal performance.

Basic Networking:
Connect security devices to local networks (routers, switches, NVRs) and assign IP addresses for remote viewing.

Software Integration:
Assist in setting up basic management software for attendance tracking and door access control.

Testing & Commissioning:
Test completed installations thoroughly to ensure system stability and client satisfaction.

Troubleshooting:
Diagnose wiring faults, hardware malfunctions, or network connectivity issues on-site.

Preventive Maintenance:
Perform routine servicing, cleaning, and firmware updates on existing client security systems.

Site Coordination:
Read floor plans or technical drawings and coordinate with site supervisors to execute wiring safely.

Job Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in security system installation and electrical wiring.

Technical Skills:
Confident in cabling, drilling, conduit bending, and low-voltage electrical termination. Added Advantage if you have Basic networking knowledge (IP configuration, port forwarding, routing) and software setup experience.

License & Transport:
Must possess a valid driving license (D / GDL is a plus), Company vehicle provided for site work
