Job Overview:
We're on the lookout for a dynamic and customer-centric individual to join our team as a Cafe Crew member.
Our team is divided into two different roles, which is the barista and also the support crew the barista operation and focuses on food preparation using pre-prepared items from our central kitchen or frozen food, heated via high-speed ovens and microwaves. Responsibilities:
• Prepare and heat food items (e.g., pastries, sandwiches, and other menu items) using high-speed ovens and microwaves.
• Ensure all food items are presented according to café standards.
• Monitor food stock levels and communicate with the team for restocking needs. Ensure the cleanliness of café area.
• Assist baristas with customer orders and serve prepared food and beverages promptly.
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with placing orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing recommendations.
• Refill supplies such as cups, lids, and other essentials during service.
• Maintain a tidy and organized seating and other café area, including restocking merchandise, condiments, and supplies as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of food items according to café standards.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring orders are correct and presenting bills and processing payments when necessary.
• Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness, replenish utensils, napkins, and condiments, and assist with clearing tables as needed.
• Assist with clearing tables, sanitizing dining areas, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to all customers, addressing their needs and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Engage with customers to build rapport, answer questions about menu items and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback gracefully, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure resolution.
• Assist in daily opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking.
Requirement:
• 1 – 2 years of experience working in a café or F&B environment is ideal.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a genuine passion for creating positive experiences for cafe patrons.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
