Showgirls (1995) follows Nomi Malone (Elizabeth Berkley), a drifter who arrives in Las Vegas with dreams of becoming a top dancer. As Nomi navigates the cutthroat world of Vegas entertainment, she faces betrayal, rivalry, and moral compromises while striving for fame and recognition. Along the way, characters like James Smith (Glenn Plummer), a dancer and friend, and Greg Savion (Alan Rachins), a mentor figure, shape her journey, ultimately revealing the dark, seductive, and often exploitative underbelly of the show business world.
