After the Rebel Alliance’s base on the ice planet Hoth is discovered and attacked by Imperial forces, Luke Skywalker travels to the swamp world of Dagobah to train with the wise Jedi Master Yoda, while Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, and C-3PO evade the Empire in the Millennium Falcon. As Darth Vader relentlessly pursues them and sets a trap using Han’s old friend Lando Calrissian, Luke is drawn into a lightsaber duel with Vader, only to face the shocking revelation that the Sith Lord is his father, leaving the fate of his friends and the Rebellion hanging in the balance.
