Boutique Assistant cum Content CreatorRM 1,500 - 1,600 per month
We are seeking a creative and versatile individual to join our team as a Boutique Assistant cum Content Creator for our batik brand. This role involves assisting with boutique operations while also creating engaging content to promote our unique batik products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for batik artistry, excellent communication skills, and a flair for content creation across various digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
Boutique Assistance:
1. Assist in inventory management, including regular stock checks and coordinating with the management team for reordering.
2. Process customer order online and offline including packing orders.
3. Provide exceptional customer service to clients (online and offline), assisting with inquiries, offering product recommendations and prepare catalogue for VIP Whatsapp group.
4. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the boutique space, including arranging displays and restocking inventory as needed.
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure promotional materials and displays align with brand guidelines.
6. Host a live session at the boutique and production house.
Content Creation:
1. Develop creative and visually appealing content for the brand's social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook.
2. Capture high-quality photographs and videos showcasing our batik collection, batik production, ensuring consistency with brand aesthetics.
3. Plan and execute simple photo shoots and video using iPhone for product catalogue and social media content.
4. Stay updated on current trends in social media and content marketing to identify new opportunities for brand promotion.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Assist in organizing and coordinating special events, such as Hari Kraf Kebangsaan, pop-up shops, and fashion show.
2. Support the management team with administrative tasks as needed, including responding to email inquiries and scheduling appointments.
3. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss sales targets, marketing strategies, and upcoming initiatives.
4. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the customer experience and improve operational efficiency within the boutique.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably within the fashion or lifestyle industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content tailored to different audiences.
- Proficiency in photography and videography, with experience using editing software such as Canva.
- Passion for batik artistry and a willingness to learn about the cultural significance and heritage of batik.
