We are seeking a highly capable Global Regulatory & Compliance Manager to oversee and manage regulatory requirements for the export of green tea-based products from Australia into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the United States, and Europe. This role is critical in ensuring our products meet all applicable food safety, labeling, import/export, and market-specific compliance standards across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead regulatory strategy for multi-region product distribution, ensuring compliance with food safety and labeling laws across target markets
• Manage product registrations, import permits, and certifications (e.g., FDA, EFSA, Halal, HACCP, organic certifications where applicable)
• Interpret and apply regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions including ASEAN, GCC, EU, and the US
• Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure documentation accuracy and compliance
• Oversee ingredient compliance, product specifications, and permissible claims for each market
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving regulations and proactively advise the business on risks and opportunities
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and external consultants as needed
• Develop and implement internal compliance processes, documentation systems, and audit readiness procedures
• Support product development teams to ensure compliance is embedded early in formulation and packaging decisions

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, Law, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in food regulatory compliance, preferably in beverages or functional foods
• Strong working knowledge of international food regulations (e.g., FDA, FSANZ, EFSA, ASEAN food regulations, GCC standards)
• Experience managing multi-country product registrations and export compliance
• Familiarity with labeling requirements, ingredient restrictions, and health claims across jurisdictions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex documentation workflows
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across international teams
• Experience with certifications such as Halal, organic, or GMP is highly advantageous
